OUR STORY

The best way to maintain a high level of prosperity in society is to manage the earth's resources responsibly and make the most of them to manufacture products that can be inherited for generations.

When we founded MoreWood Sweden AB it was with a shared passion for solid wood and nature. We wanted to create a company that could have a positive impact on the wood industry. We wanted to maximize the utilisation of solid wood residue streams and manufacture long lasting products that withstand generations of wear and tear.

Due to small volumes and expensive investments, it is not allways economically viable for a single wood industry unit to invest in further processing of solid wood residue. This is where MoreWood can make a difference by collecting residue from many sources and help maximising the solid wood yield for the whole value chain. By doing so, we help reducing the preassure on the forest resources and help more trees grow old and wise.

WHAT WE DO

MoreWood takes care of the residue from the fast growing CLT-industry. CLT is a fantastic building material that replaces precasted concrete panels. However, CLT panels generate a lot of residue from window, door and other cut-outs. At MoreWood we take care of the cut-outs and turn them into high quality products such as:

-staircases

-bridges

-on demand projects
